A quartet consisting of two Czechs and two Canadians represents the very top level of jazz musicianship of the two countries. Canadian double bassist Duncan Hopkins forms an uncompromising in-the-pocket rhythm section with Czech drummer Tomas Hobzek, creating a solid backup for Canadian tenor sax player David Beecroft and Czech guitarist Libor Smoldas in the front line. Czech Canadian Collusion is presenting their jazz versions of Christmas music from the two countries as well as from around the world.
