Music of trio Cissokho - Brönnimann - Hason is all about telling stories. Never ending alteration of African and European music is both modern and traditional, sweet, yet full of conflicts. Sounds of kora (African harph with 24 strings) is connected with tunes of bass clarinet and oriental percussions. Mousa Cissokho comes from Senegal and was taught the ways of griotis, wandering singers and story tellers. Jan Galega Brönnimann is well known for his band Brink Man Ship and collaboration with Nils Petter Molvaer, Sidsel Endresen, Pierre Favre, Eivind Aarset, or Kenny Werner. Omri Hason is from Israel and has been taught how to play drums and percussion by Iranian master Djamchid Chemirani.
