American bass jazz star

Bass playe rand composer Steve Clarke is a versatile musician – his play skillfully combines the modern jazz, blues, soul and RnB and he is very well known as a brilliant player.

Steve comes from a very musical family – his father, talented trumpeter, has been teaching his sons to love music and young Steve has played with many great artists of those times – The Drifters, The Coasters, Mary Wells, Ben E. King or Sam & Dave. After his graduation, he joint the Celula New York, a band of famous Laco Déczi, and together they have travelle all across the Europe. He became quite successfull in Germany and Austria, but also in the Czech Republic.

His first solo project was an album KICKIN‘ IT. After an affirmative acceptance by both critics and listeners, he began to collaborate with Willie Randall, Charles Dukes or with a gospel singer Linda Johnson, with whom he composed another 3 CDs.

Except from his original band Celula New York, Steve has played with many different and famous musicians and bands, including Sherry Winston, Yellow Jackets, Theresa Wright Quartet, Patxi, Tower of Power, George Baicea, Melvin Sparks, Pieces Of A Dream, Chris Tolfield Band, Walter Duda, Francisco Molina, Phillip Maniatty, Willie Randall, Charles Dukes, TNT Jazz Band, Greg Bernard, Greg James or Off Da Hook.
