In 2001, they were invited to the craddle of dixieland, New Orleans, to perform during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. They often collaborate with wonderful young singer Barbora Vágnerová, and sometimes with special guests, including Denis Gordon in 2012 and 2013, Mike Fulton or Evan Christopher.

Z.U.B.B. (Základní Umělecký Big Band) is a big band full of energy, composed mainly of students from the ZUŠ Adolf Voborský and the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. The big band performed at a number of concerts in jazz clubs and festivals in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. You can look forward to an original repertoire that combines jazz, swing, funk and jazz-rock styles from composers such as Herbie Hancock, Brecker Brothers, Tito Puente, Joe Zawinul, Louis Prima and others.
The concert will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. and the proceeds from the entrance fee of CZK 250 will be donated to the Gymnasium and Secondary Vocational School for the Visually Impaired.
Tickets will be available at the venue.
